Legendary Train Depot
Elkhart Lake’s century-old railroad station stands in the center of town in the Village Square. It houses original depot furnishings, clippings, photos and memorabilia that chronicle the history of this resort community. The depot was once Elkhart Lake’s main transportation that brought trains full of vacationers, race enthusiasts, gambler and gangster alike from Chicago, Milwaukee and Green Bay.
The Elkhart Lake Depot is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Please call for hours of operation.
