The weekend we all look forward to is almost here – 4th of July! From fireworks on the lakefront to the annual parade through downtown, there is so much fun to be had on America’s birthday. Here are a few ways to show off your red, white, and blue spirit this weekend.
Elkhart Lake Fire Department’s Annual Fireman’s Picnic
July 2nd | 5 to 11pm
Come out to support the Elkhart Lake Fire Department with food, drinks, and live music. The picnic will be held on Friday, July 2nd, from 5pm to 11pm, and Sunday, July 4th, from 11am to 5pm at Fireman’s Park & Beach. Enjoy live music by The Toys on Friday night at 7:30pm to 11pm and then the Tom Schneider Band on Sunday afternoon. Sponsored by the Elkhart Lake Fire Department.
Elkhart Lake Fireworks
July 2nd | Dusk
This is going to be a firework show for the books! Grab a chair, blanket, friends, and family and head down to the lakefront on Friday evening for the firework show of the year. Fireworks begin at 9:30pm or dusk.
Elkhart Lake Fireman’s Parade
July 4th | 11:30am
Blankets and chairs will line the streets of downtown during the best small town parade in Wisconsin. Enjoy the outdoor Bloody Mary bars and the overload of red, white, and blue! Beginning behind Siebkens Resort and ending at Fireman’s park, where the Tom Schneider Band will be playing.
4th of July Boat Parade
July 3rd | 11am
What started last year to spark the spirit of 4th of July during the pandemic, the lake residents are at it again. Come down to the beaches and piers to wave at the lake residents on their boats for a mini 4th of July boat parade. You can view the parade from all of the resort beaches. (Resort beaches are for resort guests only.)
NASCAR Cup Series
July 1st to 4th | Road America
The NASCAR Cup Series features thrilling door-to-door and wheel-to-wheel action through stage racing, which ensures more highlight-reel moments during a race, increases the sense of urgency, and emphasizes aggressive racing and strategy. The NASCAR Cup Series Jockey Made in America 250 presented by Kwik Trip on July 4th will be joined by the NASCAR XFINITY Series Henry 180 on July 3rd and the Trans Am Series once again as the series will host two 100-mile races during the weekend.
Siebkens Resort Vintage NASCAR Party
July 3rd | 5pm
Enjoy a vintage display of NASCAR vehicles and live music from DJ Flotronux. There will be food and drinks available for purchase in Siebkens Alley.
Siebkens Summer Concert Series
June 30th | Siebkens Bandstand
Siebkens Summer Concert Series continues on Wednesday evenings on the bandstand. The Brown Baer Music Club will be live this Wednesday from 7-11pm. Get a bite to eat in the Stop-Inn Tavern, take a seat outside, and take in the relaxing vibes of summertime.
Live Music at Osthoff’s Lake Deck
June 30th to July 4th | Osthoff Lake Deck
The Lake Deck will be rocking all weekend long with live music right on the lakefront. This weekend’s drink special at the Osthoff’s Lake Deck is the ‘UNCLE SAM’! For every drink purchased, $1 will be donated to the Elkhart Lake Fire Department.
Live Music at the Tiki Bar
July 1st to 4th | Tiki Bar at Shore Club Wisconsin
No shoes, no shirt, no problem! The Tiki Bar will be serving up tiki drinks, island vibes, and offering free live music all weekend long. Check out the list of artists on their 2021 Summer Music Schedule.
Farmers & Artisans Market
July 3rd | Village Square
Wake up early Saturday morning for one of Elkhart Lake’s largest farmers markets of the summer. Pick up fresh seasonal vegetables, flowers, cheeses, local arts and specialty products. The market begins at 8am until noon every Saturday morning in the Village Square.
