For starters, Elkhart Lake will be hosting its 9th annual Shop & Sip event on April 26th! This event has become a favorite for women who travel in for it each year. Spend the day shopping and tasting wines as you mosey through the quaint streets of downtown. After shopping and tasting wine, enjoy everything else that Elkhart Lake has to offer. The walkability of the town becomes even more charming in spring as the local businesses welcome additional daylight hours and visitors after the quiet winter. Cute coffee shops can be reached on foot in town and at the Osthoff. Also inside the Osthoff is Aspira Spa. If this winter took a toll on you, a massage or sauna or soak in the hot tub at Aspira will come in handy.
If you’re wanting to connect with nature as the seasons turn, the Kettle Moraine Ice Age trail system is a must-visit state park and easily accessible by car from the village. Taking in the calm views of the lake before the summer bustle begins is another easy way to unwind outside. Whether you opt for a spa day or an outdoor adventure (or maybe a little of both!) dining in Elkhart Lake for lunch and dinner is a magical experience all its own.
