Gyotaku Lake Fish Printing Workshop at The Mad Patcher
June 1 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Join The Mad Patcher for another creative workshop where participants will create custom Gyotaku prints using a fish from Elkhart Lake. Gyotaku is an ancient Japanese technique where a fish is inked and printed onto paper. In this modern version, you’ll use fabric paints to print on 100% cotton T-shirts (provided) or other cotton garments like denim. You’ll get three free prints to apply to one item or multiple. This beginner-friendly workshop is open to all ages, and if you’re not comfortable with handling fish, our staff will assist. Plus, 10% of proceeds will support The Coral Reef Alliance, aiding coral reef conservation.
